The first grave is located at Church of England, Compartment O, Grave 190
This grave holds Joseph Birtwistle, his first wife Mary Ann and his second wife Annie Maria. It also holds his son (with Annie) Elton who died at 7 months of age from Gastro-enteritis and asthemuia and his sister-in-law (sister of Annie) Isabella Rundle.

The second Grave is located at Roman Catholic, Compartment L, Grave 298
This grave holds Joseph's son also called Joseph. Joseph Jnr's wife Margaret and their son William Henry. William died at 17 and there was an inquest. He died from heart failure by dilation. He was a ship's steward and had recently returned from sea. He had been out and run to catch the train. He had then died on the train between Williamstown and Spotswood.

It holds another Joseph Birtwistle who died at 4 hours of age. He was the son of Joseph Jnr and Maggie and born prematurely.
This grave was in an area of mass public burials. Other burials have occurred over the top of it so there is no identifiable grave site.
