Website has a great deceased search website. The cemetery is huge so make sure you know where you are going before you leave. A map is essential. There is one on the website or you can get from the office.

Hank, his wife Betty and son Victor all have plaques at this family rock

Putting plaques to all three was left to Lisa, Hank and Betty's daughter. Betty was a procrastinator and could not make a decision as to what to do.

Hank's ashes were scattered as per his wishes over a 'coliban' potato crop on The Drysdale Peninsula in 1988. He was the initial breeder of this potato. Hank's sister, Mieneke Swaan, came out from The Netherlands for the scattering of his ashes.
The Herb Society of Victoria also erected a plaque in The Burnley Horticultural College Herb Garden, to recognise his contribution. He was a life member.

Betty did plant a tree at Dendy Park (via Bayside city council) to recognise Victor's love of cricket.
Vic was an active member player and coach at the Brighton Cricket club based here. There is no official recognition of him at this spot but it was a lovely gesture.
