Noble: Grave at Gore Hill Cemetery

This grave belongs to Martha and James Noble.
It can be found in Church of England Section 1, Plot 54


Noble (Allen), Martha (73)                   died 16th Oct 1918 / 18740      

Noble, James Harvey Randall (71)      died 17th Sep 1911 / 11056     

I visited this grave twice over a couple of days. The first time it was overgrown and in very poor repair. On the first visit a gardener helped me find the grave and explained how birds drop seeds and that is how trees grow up in the graves. He promised he would tend to the grave the next day knowing I was returning to Melbourne and he was true to his word. It was completely different when I came back a couple of days later. I wrote and thanked him.

Wybert was the first husband of Ethyl Gladys Salter later Inwood. She and her second husband are buried in Karrakatta Cemetery.
